I am Alex Berry, a photographer who believes passionately in capturing and recording the images of the real Andalucia... ...images which are all too quickly disappearing...and once gone, they never return..... The old doors,windows, corners, ruins. all the images we love about this area and the very things which say SPAIN to us and are part of the reason why we choose to be here, BUT these same images are soon rejected once the march of 'progress' takes over. I try to capture the 'feel', the essence of the area, the hidden bits tucked away, round the corner. ...(these can be found even in the cities, the back streets where neighbours used to be able to touch - high above the pavements) The serenity to be found in old wood, old ironwork, old brickwork even the faces of old people. The rough and ragged gentleness that is Spain. My images are to be found in an extensive range of: POSTCARDS: very original, very different. 1 euro each.........pack of 10 7.50 euros CALENDERS: Desk calenders with envelope. Each calender depicts one subject i.e. Torrox Pueblo, Fruit and Veg, Black and White sketches of ruins.....with others in the pipe line. Each month shows a different image. Price: 6 euros each LINEN TOTE BAGS:Images produced in colour on Linen Tote Bags. Price: 10 euros each NOTELETS:Black and White sketches of doors, ruins etc., produced on cream card and come complete with envelopes. Price: pack of 5 is 5 euros. These can also be personalised with images of your own home and can be used for Christmas cards etc. I also photograph Morocco .. and my home city of Stoke-on-Trent in the same way
